SC / SCL Submersible aerators
Description
SC and SCL submersible aerators are frequently used in water cooling systems and especially in:
• grease flotation;
• homogenisation and equalisation;
• pre-aeration stages;
• biological oxidation stages;
• simultaneous nitrification and oxidation stages;
• sludge stabilisation;
• post-aeration stages.
Usage
SC and SCL series radial submersible aerators can be used for flotation of grease, oils and suspended solid bodies in the relevant flotation stages.
Their ease of installation makes it possible to use them in pre-existing tanks to reinforce oxidation or in new systems thus avoiding costly air distribution systems.
SC and SCL aerators can be powered with pure oxygen, ozone, carbon dioxide, combustion fumes; this clearly means that they can be used in neutralisation stages or in high-oxygen content aeration stages.
The double speed motor makes it possible to use SC and SCL aerators also as mixers, thus allowing proper handling of the tank with reduced consumption and no air use.
SC and SCL aerators can work fully submerged thus greatly reducing noise.
Moreover they solve the problem of the aerosol effect in that they do not produce gushes of liquids or dispersion of liquid particles in the atmosphere, thus ensuring better working conditions for the whole system.
