Surface
aerators ASP-F and ASP-G series
The surface aerators are mainly used at water purification
plants for the biological treatment of the wastewater and at
lagoons.

They can be both stationary and floating; the floating version
consists of a floating system to which the aerator is fixed.
The rotor is made of superficially treated steel
or of stainless steel (304 or 316) upon request.
The geometry of the impeller allows a high efficiency in the
oxygen transfer; its profile has been made in order to avoid
that foreign materials adhering to the impeller.
The variation of the rotor immersion determines a different
oxygen transfer efficiency and a different mixing.
The electric motor is suitable for working outdoors, in
the most varied atmospheric conditions; moreover it can be
connected to a frequency multipier, which changes the
number of revolutions or the direction of rotation.
This system allows a very flexible use of the aerator.
The gearmotor is planetary and allows a high ratio
of transmissible torque to overall dimensions and high radial
and axial load capacity of output shafts.
It furthermore has the planetary gears of reduction stages
mounted to floating holders to ensure maximum load
distribution among planetary gears; grooved sections to
connect the inner parts without using tabs and motor housing
made of spheroidal cast iron.
