AireX 12″ disc diffusers: efficient diffuser grids and simplified maintenance

SCM Tecnologie’s AireX 12″ air diffusion grids are designed to ensure high performance in biological wastewater treatment processes for both municipal and industrial plants. Each diffuser has a total diameter of 344 mm, with an effective diameter of 285 mm, and is equipped with a silicone disc membrane, also available in EPDM. It generates fine air bubbles with an airflow rate between 2 and 12 Nm³/h, up to 15 Nm³/h in overload conditions. Silicone is particularly suitable for wastewater with high concentrations of grease, oils and hydrocarbons, where it provides greater resistance and longer service life compared to other materials.

The real strength of the system is the fully removable diffuser grid: the diffusers are mounted on frames that can be lifted out of the tank, making installation quick and routine maintenance simple and safe.
