The MX-gi 13.04.4. mixer is interesting thanks to some features: its high robustness and its compact dimensions.

This mixer is the output of a design that has been completely developed in Italy, by leveraging the latest technological innovations. In addition, its small dimensions simplify its handling, offer more stability and make it easy to be installed.
High performances are achieved thanks to the propeller and the low power consumption.

High performance and small size

MX-gi 13.04.4.submersible mixer offers several advantages First and foremost, a length of only 62 cm including the sliding guide rail and the reduced mass makes the mixer extremely light and usable even in very small tanks.

However, this does not mean a lack of robustness. In fact, the propeller is made of stainless steel 316L, highly resistant to corrosion and the evolving profile propeller achieves high performance.

As for installation devices, they are simple and functional because of mixer’s lightness and small size.

Devices for mixer installation

The technical and physical characteristics of the MX-gi 13.04.4 submerged mixer allow simple installations using light and easy lifting/supporting devices.

The first solution is the so-called cantilever installation, which involves the use of the LDV 2″ structure combined with a 2″ diameter guide rail. The advantage of this structure is the customer can choose mixer direction (horizontally and vertically adjustable), thanks to a special bracket. Thanks to the LDV 2” solution, the mixer flow can be pointed, depending on tank shape and project needs.
Maximum flexibility and “tailored” solutions, since the MX-gi 13.04.4 can be installed in tanks of different shapes and sizes.

The second option is to use a retractable LDV structure 40×40 mm.
This has to be installed with a squared cross-section guide rail (40 mm/each side).
fixed to the tank edge by means of a bracket into which the guide rail has to be inserted. The design of the bracket allows the mixer to be horizontally adjustable. This solution also provides the advantage of keeping the structure below floor level. The retractable structure is therefore the ideal solution for covered tanks with a manhole.

Support and lifting devices are supplied by SCM Tecnologie to complete mixers supply.

Construction and propeller materials

The innovations that the MX-gi 13.04.4 submerged mixer brings are not only about physical bulk and lightness.

The propeller, for example, made of AISI 316L stainless steel, has a diameter of 128 mm and was designed using computational fluid dynamics tools.
Thanks to advanced simulations and calculations, a propeller profile has been devised that guarantees the best thrust for an installed power of only 0.4 kW, resulting in a product that guarantees extremely high performance while providing excellent energy efficiency.

In addition, there is the choice made by the manufacturer regarding the use of materials, a guarantee of robustness and durability.
The motor body is made entirely of cast-iron and is suitably painted for physical robustness and ability to resist possible problems caused by corrosion.
The slide rail, on the other hand, is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, whose strength and resistance to corrosion are well known for this type of application.

Application Fields

Choosing the MX-gi 13.04.4 submersible mixer means access to a number of very interesting features that make the product especially suitable for use in smaller tanks. Functionally, it provides the ability to mix, agitate and homogenise wastewater.

It can also work with other equipment, such as submerged pumps, depending on different treatment processes needs.
